Sudaporn Teja (Thai: สุดาภรณ์ เตจา; b. 1986 in Chiang Mai, lives and works in Bangkok) is a multidisciplinary Thai artist whose practice operates at the intersection of abstraction and conceptual art. She is recognized for exhibitions that bring together abstract and conceptual approaches in a coherent manner, connecting emotional expression with critical reflection. Her research-based practice weaves together personal and collective narratives with anthropological, sociological and historical perspectives to examine equality and the mechanisms through which it is constructed, negotiated, and destabilized within society.

Through diverse lines of inquiry, she explores intangible dimensions including belief systems, temporality and conditions of possession. These complex themes are distilled into symbolic forms embedded within layered visual compositions. Her practice spans mixed-media abstract painting, installation, video and photography, with each medium functioning as a vehicle for subtle and nuanced meaning. When considered together, these works resonate through a shared dialogue, generating relational meanings that support one another and form a cohesive body of work.

Her artwork has been presented in major group exhibitions both in Thailand and internationally, including LOCAL MYTHS #2: Shifting Terrains at BACC (2026); THE ABYSS IS CALLING at Gallery VER (2025); ART for AIR (2021); SPECTROSYNTHESIS II – Exposure of Tolerance: LGBTQ in Southeast Asia at BACC (2019) and Sublimation of Boundaries at R. Gallery (2017). She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and a Master of Fine Arts from Chiang Mai University.
